CAD Outsource was set up to supply high quality, low cost outsourcing solutions within the UK.
The company is based in Wiltshire in the south west of England and was formed in late 2008 by Tim Burrows.
CAD Outsource has been a highly prized asset to some of the country’s top building services consultants in helping to deliver a high quality AutoCAD Service to clients in times of work overload.
We have served as a subcontracted drawing office for small contractors, this has proven to have been a fundamental low cost solution to their drawing production, and has saved them both time and money.
CAD Outsource has supplied drawing services to inventors looking to produce sketches for patent submission, this is an area which we have been highly successful in.
Although a small company, the owner has over 7years of professional experience, working in the building services industry as a CAD Manager & Electrical Design Engineer working for high profile companies and clients.
We are now looking to expanding the business to provide readymade off the shelf AutoCAD Blocks and provide high quality useful free advice and web based Tutorials which we hope you will enjoy.

Profile on Tim Burrows
Tim Burrows has over 7 years experience within the Building Services within this time he has worked for several large multi-national building services consultants. Working both in the drawing office and design offices. He has been involved in large scale multi-million pound projects including Arsenals Emirates Stadium, Prince Charles’s Hospital in Wales and along with a number of BSF Schools including 7 PFI schools in Newcastle, & enabling works for London Paddington to name but a few.
His role within the business have covered a wide range of activities including CAD Management, Document Control and Electrical Design Engineering, and has therefore produced a rounded engineer with the capabilities of producing, and recording material that is specialised and complex, however Tim's experience has enabled him to develop a robust working method that is trusted by his clients.
Tim started CAD Outsource originally as a supplement to his income, and has worked for both large and small consultancies, and with his considerate and warm approach very noticeable this allows inventors, small scale consultants and contractors to use his AutoCAD services.
His aim is to take the company forward to allow CAD Outsource to become his single source of income and in doing so provide the industry with a low cost, high quality drafting solution.
Tim has also run a successful blog which he hopes to integrate into the CAD Outsource website to allow clients, and prospective Clients, along with AutoCAD Community to share in his knowledge with tutorials and online lessons
